The Palace by the Sea, Reimagined

With a breathtaking location at the edge of the Atlantic, Four Seasons Hotel Rabat stands proudly at Kasr Al Bahr, meaning “Palace by the Sea.” Encompassing 5 hectares (12 acres), this sprawling complex was built at the end of the 18th century as the summer residence of Morocco’s Sultan Moulay Slimane. The palace later served as a military hospital before closing in 1999. Now Four Seasons has restored and reimagined this magnificent property, including 11 buildings – 6 historical and 5 brand-new.
